陳偉殷本季第17場先發，生涯首次對戰大都會，前6局表現幾近完美，除塞斯佩德斯（Yoenis Cespedes），沒人能從陳偉殷手中敲安打。

不過，塞斯佩德斯第4局的這支陽春砲，為陳偉殷及馬林魚帶來壓力，馬林魚打線受大都會投手馬茲（Steven Matz）壓制，前6局分數掛零。

在0比1落後局面，26歲怪力重砲史丹頓（Giancarlo Stanton）攻守俱佳，改變比賽樣貌。

史丹頓在7局上敲出2分全壘打，2比1逆轉比數；7局下陳偉殷續投爭取勝投，史丹頓在右外野美技滑接，化解失分危機，讓陳偉殷投完7局退場，保有1分領先。

史丹頓8局上又再成為全場焦點，敲出3分全壘打拉大比數，單場雙響砲，也是個人生涯第17場2支以上全壘打的比賽。

陳偉殷共用87球投7局，只被敲出3支安打，責失1分，最快球速達95英里（153公里）。

陳偉殷本季4月拿2勝，5月及6月各拿1勝，7月首次先發就開張，拿到本季第5勝。
